A: BEAMING’s efforts towards fostering an inclusive innovation culture at Widening Higher Education Institutions is to design the concept of the framework for innovative culture and excellent science and research at higher educational institutions. This will be achieved by examining current policies and practices to identify and eliminate systemic and structural barriers. In addition, providing the stakeholders in the project with training and education on issues of fostering the innovation culture and environment for excellent research, to raise awareness and build skills.
Q: Can you share specific initiatives or approaches implemented by The Agricultural University – Plovdiv to promote inclusivity within the bioeconomy sector?
A: In the structure of the Agricultural University-Plovdiv a Bioeconomy Hub is settled up. The main function of the Bioeconomy Hub is to promote the bioeconomy in the region of Plovdiv and to provide expertise knowledge and know-how for the development of the regional bioeconomy.
Q: How does The Agricultural University – Plovdiv collaborate with other partners in BEAMING to ensure effective implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing innovation culture across diverse regions?
A: Collaboration with other partners in the projects will be based on regular online meetings to exchange information on the current ongoing activities and future planning of implementation of the next tasks.
