THE BEAMING PROJECT PRESENTED AT THE RESEARCHERS NIGHT IN BANJA LUKA
The BEAMING Project was presented at this year’s European Researchers’ Night in Banja Luka, with a focus on engaging students in collaborative research efforts. Supported by Horizon Europe and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, this year’s event helped bridge the gap between researchers and the public, inspiring future generations of scientists and innovators in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BEAMING Project presentation highlighted the importance of student involvement in research activities. Students who attended the event were introduced to opportunities for hands-on participation in collaborative research initiatives. The project’s training programs that will be available for students, attracted students’ attention for developing their research skills and contributing to future academic and professional advancements. The project places a strong emphasis on training students, faculty, and staff in fostering a culture of innovation and excellent research.
The 2024 European Researchers’ Night took place across 25 countries in Europe, drawing over 1.5 million visitors, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2012, the event has been an annual highlight in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing opportunities for participants of all ages to engage with scientists, learn about their work, and explore potential career paths in academia.
