On September 1, 2024, the BEAMING Project hosted a hybrid clustering event to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration in bioeconomy research. The event, held alongside the International Conference on Bio-based Polymers & Composites โ BiPoCo 2024 in Esztergom, Hungary, brought together representatives from Horizon Europe projects, higher education institutions, and research organizations to discuss past project results, ongoing initiatives, and future collaboration opportunities in this dynamic field.
Key highlights of the event included presentations introducing various projects, followed by a round table where experts analyzed lessons learned from past projects and identified synergies between ongoing efforts. Participants engaged in open discussions, sharing insights and experiences to promote interdisciplinary approaches within bioeconomy research. The event underscored the importance of harnessing collaborative efforts to drive innovation and sustainability in the bioeconomy sector.
