THE BEAMING PROJECT PRESENTED AT THE NATIONAL BIOECONOMY HUB OF SERBIA
On May 24th, 2024 the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad (member of the BEAMING consortium), attended the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in Belgrade where The Institute of Forestry, Belgrade, Serbia (IOF) organised the second gathering of the National Bioeconomy Hub and the CEE2ACT Workshop: “Building Knowledge and Capacity of Stakeholders for the Development of Bioeconomy Strategies.
There, participants tackled challenges, such as regulations and capacity building, and discussed key research areas for Serbia’s circular bioeconomy development where our partner had the opportunity to mention the BEAMING project as a solution to emphasized the importance of promoting innovation and valorization of knowledge in the field of bioeconomy through cooperation between higher education institutions.
“All our activities are very important for the future through promoting bioeconomy through the implementation of strategies and actions to reduce the technology and knowledge transfer gap” states Milica Vranešević, Associate Professor of the University of Novi Sad.
