BEAMING AT THE YOUTH SCIENCE FORUM 2026

On 28 May 2026, Educons University participated in the Youth Science Forum 2026, organised by the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” from Ukraine. The event brought together young researchers, academic representatives and project practitioners to exchange experiences on research, innovation and international cooperation.

Within the thematic track “Project Activities”, Jovana Kisin presented Educons University’s project ecosystem, highlighting its international cooperation activities, participation in EU-funded programmes and the opportunities these initiatives create for students, PhD candidates and young researchers.

The presentation placed particular emphasis on international projects as valuable learning environments that support professional development, academic collaboration and research capacity building. In this context, the BEAMING project – Bioeconomy Excellence Alliance for Stimulating an Innovative and Inclusive Green Transition, funded under the Horizon Europe programme, was presented as one of Educons University’s key ongoing initiatives offering opportunities for the involvement of young researchers and academic staff.

BEAMING’s mission to strengthen excellence, inclusiveness and innovation in the bioeconomy was highlighted as highly relevant for fostering new skills, supporting international collaboration and encouraging the participation of emerging researchers in the green transition.

The session also addressed the importance of the Erasmus+ programme as one of the main EU frameworks supporting academic mobility, international exchange and youth engagement in higher education.

BEAMING thanks Educons University for showcasing the project during the Youth Science Forum 2026 and contributing to the visibility of Horizon Europe opportunities among young researchers and academic communities in Ukraine and beyond.
