FORMATION OF THE BEAMING BIOECONOMY RESEARCH COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

The BEAMING project has officially launched the Bioeconomy Research Community of Practice (CoP), designed to act as a model for similar initiatives. This new CoP unites stakeholders from the Quadruple Helix Ecosystem who share an interest in bioeconomy research, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities.

The inaugural meeting took place on January 31, 2025, marking the formal introduction of the CoP. Attendees were introduced to the BEAMING project and the objectives of the community, while also gaining insight into the expectations for CoP members. A dedicated workshop provided a platform for participants to discuss their motivations, needs, and concerns regarding their involvement in the initiative.

With this launch, the BEAMING project aims to establish a dynamic and interactive community that will drive bioeconomy research forward. By facilitating cooperation among key stakeholders, the CoP is set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable bioeconomic development.
