SUCCESSFUL GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING HELD IN BANJA LUKA
From 25th to 27th February, the University of Banja Luka hosted the General Assembly Meeting, bringing together all partners for three enriching days of discussions and collaboration. The event served as a platform to evaluate and advance key work packages, fostering cooperation and innovation within the BEAMING Alliance.

Throughout the meeting, participants engaged in critical discussions on various topics, including:
- Building the BEAMING Excellence Alliance and establishing BEAMING Communities of Practice.
- Ensuring the sustainability of the BEAMING Excellence Alliance and supporting the Community of Practices.
- Boosting joint bioeconomy research with a Quadruple Helix innovation approach.
- Strengthening cooperation in bioeconomy research.
- Advancing Open Science practices.
- Enhancing knowledge valorisation practices.
- Promoting an inclusive innovation culture for excellent science and research.
- Aligning BEAMING results with ERA priorities and supporting research assessment practices.

Beyond the formal sessions, attendees had the opportunity to explore Banja Luka through an organised city tour, offering insights into the local culture and history. Additionally, various workshops were conducted, focusing on strengthening the consortium and addressing potential risks.
The General Assembly Meeting proved to be a successful event, reinforcing collaboration among partners and setting the stage for future advancements in bioeconomy research and innovation.
